hiya hicks! Yup, wrt your rep comment on Saturday, we were bracing for the " storm " but it never really came, all we got here was a small dusting. The winds were crazy though and the temps bitter but I am happy the snow is already melted again!! It's all sunshine here today!!

I turn the clocks ahead before 9pm and seem to have managed the time shift.
But I'd like Canada to be on standard time across the land-all the provinces & territories would have to think the same, not just think about the US.

Me? Um.........breakfast in the morning, then lunch...try to find the frog closure for my new jacket...dinner...yup. Busy days as usual!! I do have physio on Thursday and I'm really looking forward to it; it did me so much good last week! I keep attempting to do stairs one at a time, usually in the afternoons and it's okay, still holding onto the handrail for dear life. Thank heavens my DH bolted them in so well!!
I hope you have time this week to stop and smell the....um...not roses, no that'll never work...dog-poopy melting snow?? Ahhh, yes...that wonderful spring announcement!

Thank you for the reps, Hicks. and isn't it funny...every day is Saturday for us, but for some reason weekends are still weekends for us. There's something about them. One thing I do know: the weekends are not for going to Costco! We leave that to the out-of-towners who flood in then.

by comparison this a.m's drive there and back was a dream with no issues....ha ha

you know the free coffee that McD's was offering? Well my plan was to hit 2 of them on the way home, get free coffee from both BUT once I got stuck in that nasty traffic on hwy 2 , there was no way I was gonna veer off for coffee and then have to fight my way back in line. You should have seen some intersections, many drivers did that stupid move where you go through the green knowing full well you'll be stuck in the middle of the intersection. Honestly! Well I am off soon, must warm the vehicle up soon. Have a great day hicks!
