just saw your rep, thank you...it was a good day, physiotherapy went well, I went from a 70degree flex to a 97 degree flex so my therapist was really impressed. More work to be done, I still can't lift my leg off the bed even an inch, so yep...more exercises to keep doing.

Yeah I know the Rep's got both House and Senate now, but when they have the mid terms in 2 years do those votes elect new members to both the House and Senate, or just one of them?

Hello, Sweetie...goodness, Hicks, how terribly frightened I was about getting those staples out, you can't even begin to imagine! I was making myself sick over it! Thank God for those nurses who still care enough to remember patients are people too, and give them comfort instead of acting like robots just 'doing their jobs'! So is your auction this weekend? Simply heartbreaking. You know I could not bring myself to tune in to the tv after I heard her speech so I had NO idea there were large crowds of protestors in many Cities shouting Not Our President! ( and many profanity words too ) I am guessing that the Dems are regrouping to figure out what they can do during the mid term elections in 2 years? Maybe they can get some representation back in the House ( or is it the Senate? ) I forget now.

Thanks a lot Trump! He ruined my DD and my drinking game last night!! We had planned a big gulp of our drinks every time Hillary won a district!! OMG!! We barely even got a buzz on....ha ha . Today we just cried and cried watching the Dems faces in disbelief as Hillary gave her concession speech.

We've been getting unusually warm weather, in the teens here, too - and SUN!
I'll just watch bits and pieces of election results, not something I stay glued to the screen for - if I'm on the computer, I'll check sites now and again. If I'm not, I listen to US radio.

yes, we ( DH ) and I are watching the World Series and are rooting for opposite teams! It sure makes it awkward when we scream in excitement for runs and then get the dagger eyed glares from each other! My team ( Cubs ) tied it up last night! Just imagine playing in those cold temps? See now the Jays stadium you would not have that issue, should have been us!!
