I had a good morning-lovely warm day to rake leaves! But pm, it was like I never had raked at all. Upside-I bagged leaves regardless of family member's flack about it.

yeah I was being sarcastic, but you know I do have that " love/hate " relationship with being the chief cook and bottlewasher here. Most of the time it is an absolute adventure and pleasure, but.....there are lows that come with the mundane steps that cannot be skipped ( prepping and the clean up after mainly) The eating part is what everyone here does very well! lol

A day without obligations is a treat. You notice things that you might not when busy. You enjoy just being you!
Made the chiffon cake but not quick rolls. Made a hasty pizza and enjoyed it. Am a crabby cook in kitchen if someone else is around. Noticed during snow squalls (short) that the light looks pretty. Had a mug of tea-don't always have it each day. Need a good fiction work to read tonight. Will see if library ebooks has a romance for me!

It was a sunny morning and I love that! No contest wins to make day better...

oh yes the " snow balls " ( part fur part snow ) ours had them when we used to let them stay a long time in the backyard. Now they won't stay out there for more than a few tinkles or a quick poop and bark to get back inside.

sigh.....are you up to your ears in snow yet?? lol!! I was crocheting downstairs around 1 p.m. then surface around 4:30 and OMG!! white stuff everywhere!! The dogs wore their silly coats, took me longer to dress them both than the entire walk took! ha ha Murphy was running around off leash so happy for a bit biting at the snow. Hope all is well with you.

lol!! ( scarf/hat request ) I still cannot believe my DH has requested an infinity scarf!! Never thought I'd see the day he'd wear something like that.

I am fine hicks, still crocheting up a few more things for Xmas. A bit stressed over things I do not control, but that's nothing new. Also can you believe I am dreading the snow coming?? You'd think I'd be giggling at not having to go out into it, but I worry about everyone else here going out in it! Silly. Have a great w/e!!
