I am an idiot! I chucked them all out! Now I am learning there is a way to save the bulb and replant again next year! I was always buying batch of new ones every November? BUT in my defense they were usually only $3.99- $5.00 each, I usually bought 3-4 just a small gift to myself for the Xmas season. This year I am going to learn how to save the bulbs ( I have 3 here, 1 has already fully flowered! ) trust me I am like you I KILL most everything i touch! ha ha BUT now thanks to Lynn49, I am a green onion Queen! I have been growing so many from the bottoms of others, don't have to buy any. Too funny, I just never knew before.

about Biscotti, me too! I don't buy them often but whenever I have had one with a coffee it always intrigued me how a crunchy sort of stale looking biscuit could taste that yummy and sell? Now I know they are pretty easy to make and the part I love is putting whatever is your fav. flavourings/nuts etc. DH tasted one and said " YOU did NOT make these ?!" I think what he MEANT was " these taste really good " ha ha

I am practicing my crochet stitches and will most likely try something small like slippers before I go onto my blanket to make sure i can read the pattern and all the other stuff also I am looking at patterns at the same time.

Hi Crochetlady got my wool from KnitPicks and will pratice crocheting before I attempt my blanket. Going to need a pattern also I am thinking all 1 color but could add a navy blue "maybe'.

yeah, the wipers can easily be damaged if ice has frozen them to the windshield. Tonight the guys will have to make very sure the scraper(s) are in the back of the vehicle before they head out to work. I suspect we are about to get more of the white stuff falling before their shift ends. I'm already in " avoiding walking
the dogs " mode, but I'll have to force myself out there shortly I suppose. Tough now as I am all toasty and sipping a coffee.

that is a Murphy's Law sort of moment isn't it? We've all had them, just have to shake our heads and carry on....lol

And guess who's taking a crochet class? Yep. I can crochet an chain and basically have made a dishcloth, but boy do I get confused about where to place my hook; I think the instructions just create a fog in my wee brain. I read them and have no idea which hole to count as "the first" or the last....so this way I'll learn properly.

well I would love to say it has made a huge difference but honestly I just don't see it?? I never have pain ( belly cramps ) which is awesome but I MUST still stay very close to a bathroom always. So I am limited in being out and about. THAT part I wish would change. The there is my diet, which at the moment is atrocious! I need to go back 100% gf. It was the only thing that relieved ALL my symptoms and trips to the john. It is just so darn tough to stay on that when there is all this bread and other gluten laden ( delicious ) food in the house. My battle to fight, at some point I have to do it.

ha ha! You know if they came all at once it would be over and done with but it is always 1 or 2 kids then nothing for 20 min, then another 3 etc. I can understand how Natalka says it gets to her knees having to get up and down repeatedly. I am glad it is done for another year!

Oh. Re that scarf I'm knitting: it's on Ravelry so there are a couple of hundred photos of completed projects there (one of the things I love about Ravelry!), and I much prefer the ones that omitted the Knit rows: much smarter looking, I think, all in SS. I hope!

Good for you, CL! Honestly...where on earth do people dig up that kind of nerve? I could never bring myself to do something like that. And I have to smile at that pic you have of all that yarn!! I picked up more yarn today from Michaels while the Vanna's Choice was on sale, plus the yarns for my Grandson's hat..I'll be knitting day and night to get my Christmas knitting done somehow while knitting his hat!
