In downtown T.O. ( restaurant called Spring Rolls ), they used to have an all you can eat meal, but it was all served at the table. Every person in your party had to order it though, no problem for us 5. You keep the menu at the table and each guest can order up to 5 items at once. OMG, we so gorged ourselves at that place! The Dragon rolls were my favourite off the sushi menu. But the amount of meat we had?. Shameful!
Beef Ribs especially. Darn it! Now I want some ribs....lol

I just had to Google images and Zen roll! They look so fantastic! Mine were tasty BUT the pros really know how to make them super delicious. Gotta say though, with my DS I have no idea how he can eat about 25 of them at one sitting! I get full after 6. I needed a new jar of pickled ginger so I made an early trip to Metro this a.m. Cannot enjoy them without my sliced ginger! hee hee.

hee hee....that just reminded me of a crazy You Tube video of a cockatiel that would NOT stop talking! His one phrase " I gotchu ! " was something he'd say when grabbing up one of his soft downy feathers off the bottom of the cage, thinking it was a spider. Now I ask you....how does the owner make that connection between feather and spider and a birds thoughts? Animal owners are WEIRD! Also why do I feel so drawn to these videos? lol

I JUST got my locks " fixed " by a great gal. The other ( manager ) at the place did a hack job on the cut. She did the colour fine, but that cut? Terrible.

Hahaha..you and Walks talking about RV-ing!! Yes, I eavesdropped when I posted on her site, lol...Hubby and I have a seasonal spot where we parked our RV, and where we stay for much of the summer. We bought a new 35' one, this'll be our 2nd summer in it...it's got everything for a gal who would ordinarily hate "camping". This is not camping, hahaha! We have friends on our street who live there through the summers, and fly south for the winters and just love the serenity of our campground on Manitoulin Island here. Quite a distance from you, lol, and unless we buy a monster truck we'd never be able to haul it, but we wouldn't care too, anyway, it's just for getting away to a lake and our summer friends. I do hope you get out and experience the RV lifestyle one day, both of you...!! It's so relaxing!!

ha ha !! You are so right! My actual dream travel method is by RV! I love a nice mid sized RV, nothing too monstrous, just one that DH would feel comfy driving. ONE day!!

oh now wouldn't my friend ( we were HS cheerleaders together! ) faint if I called her up and said we're coming out again! They live in retirement luxury now very near to their massive boat....somewhere on Vancouver Island? I know it's a really posh community. Sadly I have become " travel wary " ever since this pandemic. Almost paranoid. I hope it changes for me eventually, it cannot be healthy living in fear every day.

Gastown? Hmmmm, that sounds like an area in downtown Vancouver that a dear friend of mine from high school took DH and I to many, many years ago. We were visiting with her DH and her and they were the greatest hosts, despite being busy raising 2 toddlers and at that time we were childless by choice. This was as far back as the late 1980's? lol.

yup! DH and I have walked out when it was just us 2, but one time our family of 5 were seated ( eventually! ) then NO ONE came to take drink orders or anything. It was way too long and at first we were trying to be polite not wanting to embarrass our mostly grown-up kids. But then pffft! DH just said " let's go " . I also have sent food back, and have gone online to make bad reviews when they are warranted.
Must say both Kelsey's and Swiss Chalet have made amends ( I called their Head Office ) with apologies and fully comped our unsatisfactory meal with GC's.

So glad I never bought his Jersey. I've only bought ONE Maple Leaf Jersey ever and it was Nazem Kadri ....I adored that player. So of course they traded him away and he is having an excellent scoring year as a Colorado Avalanche. Leaf players always come to life after we trade them away....lol

So today I start fresh and make sure I get those 1200 calories in every day. Otherwise my body will feel it is starving ( even though I was not hungry at days end on those 5 days ? ) and will hold onto whatever fat or protein I give it. Then the weight loss will stall. Can't have that....lol
