Too bad. I know what it's like to put a lot of work into your property. Mine doesn't look like we've done anything to it, but we know what it looked like before. Well, you'll have to dissassociate yourself from it then - it's just land - keep telling yourself that. What might be nice is if you could dig up a small sapling or a perennial and bring that home. maybe something your husband liked. At least you'd have a little piece just for you

I'm not around as much as I would like either, but there's only so much we can do right? Has your son considered buying it from you? I know you wanted to leave it as an inheritance, but that's another way to do it if he wants it and can afford it.
