No sweety, you're not like that with me at all. I was thinking of your response to that "odd" poster the other day - that was a little out of character for you. And quitting is totally worth it. Your lungs will re-pink which is a very very very good thing. Would it help if I told you how proud I am of you? I am. My mom went through hell for about 3 days (crying, ranting, cursing like a sailor, which was not normal for her) and she was 2 packs a day. I'm not saying the cravings will go after 3 days, but I think they are more manageable than the withdrawal pains. For years she used to sniff other people's smoke. Now, she's like me and gags when she smells cigarettes You can do it!

Thanks for the rep. Ah-ha! Now I see why you're a bit "edgy". You're quitting - good for you! I never smoked, but my mom smoked until she was 55 or so. She used to carry a small pencil or a straw cut to size so she'd have something to do with her hands.
