yes, that is right 2 days in a row they ( Grilli and Martin ) hugged Bro style! So adorable to see the raw emotion and exuberance. -as for homes I hear you our house is 32 years old and we can only afford to do one thing a year(only one works here(parttime and on a company pension) -last year back deck before that kitchen on the very cheap end replaced cupboards and had ceramic tile put all underneath -year before that took a trip to carribean as I took care of my mom and she lived with us for 6 and a half years -so 3 years ago no reno 's done as trip was needed instead -its never ending eh but still an investment -lol

oh hicks! THAT was ONE very entertaining game! Don't ya just love Grilli and how pumped he was after ending the game with a win?? He just about strangled Martin again when he grabs him around the neck!

yes that wind did whip right thru you -I painted the bolts black on front porch and came in did a bit of my puzzle -nice that you got a new front door sounds lovely -isn't fixing up a house expensive at times -our driveway and walkway wasn't frugal at all but needed done

oh yes! you said it! It was a great day AND a good game! This morning it is so chilly!! Someone opened all the main floor windows last night and I woke up to an ice box in here! But the coolness gave the dogs energy, I let them off leash about an hour ago at the schoolyard ( no one around ) and they dashed around like mad fools! ha ha

hi -oh I am hurting all right the day after sodding small pieces -I just woke up at 7.15 and every muscle in my body aches -even my hands -as I have arthritis in them -I still have to do the other side of the driveway on our side -told hubby that can wait til july 2 after we come back from 3 days away with our grown kids -gotta slow down when we get older -lol

I just have a hard time falling asleep lol. No TV but I listen to music or a podcast. Im shooting for midnight, gives me 7 hours.

agh!! Psycho! Now there is a movie! Oh sorry you were referring to the weather. I fell sound asleep for a solid hour after I got back from the Fitness Centre today. Not sure if this new routine of working out will help but the exhaustion sure gives me some sound sleep in the middle of the day. Enjoy the game tonight.

morning hicks, still can't believe we had our central air on a week and a half ago? Although I was sad about the game slipping through the Jays fingers last night I was doubly overjoyed that the Sharks live to see another game!!

Oh, she's a pretty persistent little critter, that's for sure! I think Avon got a kick out of her...she talks non-stop, and Avon's Hubby said he couldn't get a single word in!! Typical Type A....fast talker, lovely conversationalist, happy-go-lucky attitude. DH says she's a lot like me, but I don't see it... I'm so demure, doncha know..

how'd ya like this? I never even knew it was an afternoon game today, so I did not know I was missing the game when the power was out??!! I turned the tv on around 7:30 p.m. tonight and all I see was Blue Jays in 30 listed? I was grateful though that they pulled out a win ( 7-2 Final ) and Dickey was pitching. So I get ready to watch the highlights, but popped in the back laundry room first to switch the clothes to dryer and BAMM! Can you believe the power goes out again? I was standing in pitch blackness, what a bummer. I felt my way upstairs to the bedroom and fell asleep, have no idea when the power came back on, sometime before 9 p.m. Oh well bring on the Orioles!!

hiya hicks! How many tears did you shed or rather how many swear words did you yell at the the last night?? Oh that loss stung badly! Poor Sanchez, he pitched nearly perfect and gets a No Decision. Our power was out here from around 11:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m. I read every magazine I had laying around to kill time....lol.

I'm so excited about our little trip! It's been 2 years since this stupid accident and I haven't been anywhere except...let me think now...last year we went to the cherry blossom festival in April (2015), this is 2016....yep. Two years. And only one trip in all that time. No wonder I've got cabin fever!!

So you did your putzing around the house yesterday? And today? Did you venture out in this lovely autumn weather? At least the sun came out from hidiing, the brat! Hope it did for you, too!
