morning!! I read your " rant " about the empty Jays seats, but realistically I do not know who has money to spend on that? ( We could never go to any live games, events, concerts ) It is often not just the tickets, but the traveling to and from ( gas, parking, transit? ) and if you are taking kids with you, there is food/drinks ? For families I think is not in the cards for many. Single younger people may also have to take a pass on using money for that. I am glad you can take that time for yourself and seem to really enjoy it! I hear they won an eighth straight game?

Thanx. Dad taught me a lot about fixing things around the house, so it helps. sometimes it would be nice if things would quit breaking all at once. Hope you're enjoying this awesome warm weather.

aghh! Clippers around the eyes made me shudder. Well I just groom them for the prevention of matting which happens and yes of course their comfort in the heat. We cannot brush out these goofs, they never cooperated when I tried previously and usually nipped at me. The other day the weirdest thing happened. Dh and I are sitting in the living room with both dogs and we suddenly see Murphy struggling all hunched over, almost falling. I dash to him, flip him over and you will not believe what had happened! His bottom teeth protrude out as most Shih Tzu's do and one of his teeth had hooked a patch of his own tangled chest hair so his mouth was open and all foam had collected as he drooled because he could not swallow or close his mouth. At first I thought he was seizureing! I gently unhooked the tooth and he was fine, OMG what if this had happened when no one was home? Whew!!

I wasted a couple of hours on tv but I think I actually saw most of each show before. I doze off many times part way through things. lol Jake will be a handsome doggy tomorrow. I see you saw my boys Rufus and Murphy....just as you said the very 1st time I took Rufus in I thought they were trying to give me back a scrawny dog that was not mine! lol That fur makes them look way plumper and comical ( shaggy fur over the eyes) Hey did you get the heavy rain tonight? It is done for now.

oh hicks did I ever! That sunshine was too good to pass up, I did a couple of errands, then drove to a different area with the dogs after the groomers so they could poop in a classier part of town lol!! ( yes I scooped ) So we never got the rain.....yet, I love that. Hope your day was good as well. Check out the pets thread I put their groomer pics up! ( proud Mama )

oh I see, my family are more evening energy people themselves, night owls actually. I seem to be the only one here to have the early bird gene. Poor Charger when he reads that we've been discussing his age, lol.

good morning! Have you had a productive a.m. as yet? How is Jake? Is he any better? I felt productive planting some seeds this a.m. then walking the doggies, but soon I am out the door to drive DD to work. I might read some posts first though.

DH sighed with relief when he got home from work and I told him how I had " fixed " the computer! We are really learning as we go, some days I think
" what did I used to do before I logged into a computer every day ?" lol Food for thought. Have yourself a ( brrrr chilly ) good weekend.

So I had to bug my poor DS at work to try to solve my computer dilemma. He told me it was an automatic Windows update that shakes things up and you almost have to search where everything is again ( how is that fair to do to an old woman like me?? ) I panicked, ALL my bookmarks were gone! I mean take my right arm, but don't leave me without my bookmarks! Alas, they were there the whole time under another " user " who knew we had 2 users on this computer?? not me. lol All is o.k. now.... whew!

For some reason my pages are skewed, the way sc shows up on my desk top, almost like it is too big for the screen, so I cannot scroll up or down on the right hand side, ( the bar is not visible ) it has been driving me bonkers scrolling using only my mouse wheel. lol!!! I just read that over and I thought how funny those words would sound read by someone from say 100 yrs ago. Also lost most of my icons on the desktop?? I think my DS or DH was on here fiddling with stuff! grrr! I heard rain is the long w/e forecast eh? Bummer.

oh hicks, the dogs just loved their outings and I have to say me too! That sunshine was like pure medicine today!!

So much for DH buying the wood and other supplies to make a " cat house " enclosure that hangs off the kitchen window and all screened etc, Hamlet and Claudius love to spy on all the birds and squirrels in the backyard, but this weather just will not cooperate. He wants a nice warm day to do it on.

yup. My Mom @ 90 yrs old seems disinterested in most everything and she was the Queen of cooking! ( no I am NOT saying your 90! lol ) I know both my sis and DS who are single grab something quick at a restaurant rather than investing in buying all the ingredients and then making it. Plus always way too many leftovers after. One day I will feel that too I am sure. Hey do you have rain yet? It is sprinkling here. meh

okay, I get it now, yes 4:00 a.m. IS actually pushing it Jake. He reminds me of a newborn baby.

ugh! I know! Like yesterday, DH mentions we need gas, and normally I'd hop right over and fill up the tank, but no I let him do it on his way to work instead. Just a tad lethargic from rising early every day. I love rising early, I get lots done and the dogs are loving that early walk, but by mid aft. or early evening I wanna sleep.

Oh I would def. lift baby doggie out of bed too! I totally get that. It is true, he could hurt himself by jumping down, when he gets bigger it will be nothing for him to do! What a crapola day, raining heavily, and no one remembers how to drive in that either. Just returned from a few stores grabbing this and that. Amazing how tired ( sluggish ) I feel from just that.

Yeah about Hamlet, he sleeps with me every single night, gets up even I am just going for a tinkle, comes in the bathroom all sleepy eyed and says in cat language ( that only I can hear ) " c'mon! come back to bed! " lol!!
