  3. You've just reminded me that we need our roof done too. We just got a quote of +$14,000 from a company recommended by Holmes on Homes. He said we didn't need to have it done, but if we had the money lying around.....

Why yes, we have +$14,000 lying around. We keep it in a room called the money room and every Tuesdays, we swim in it like Scrooge McDuck. Sometimes, we have a money pool party where we invite people over and bring out drinks and a DJ. Because that's what people with +$14,000 lying around do.

Who replaces their roof for +$14,000 if they don't need to?! Weirdo.

omg! That is extra funny! CIBC is like an old boyfriend or girlfriend who refuses to let go.....ha ha ha

yes! I would not be surprised to find out that CIBC caused that ice storm!! ha ha All those wasted years we spent as clients of CIBC and really got nothing from them. I credit a coworker ( g/f of mine ) for showing me the light to no fee banks!!

That is so nasty of them to single you out. I mean there are thousands that order for their relatives, etc who live in another address but often have no skills or a computer. I laughed because I only got 4 stinking samples this time.....lol!!

omg!! That is a great tool!! NOW I have something to do today!! thanks!!! ha ha I jest, but really I am so sick and tired of all the single roll. double roll. mega roll choices, with their ply options and number of sheets/dimensions always changing. Who knows what we are really getting anymore?

sounds like us! We also paid for our DS's cat's yearly exams and when she developed a horrible skin rash, even though she lived in his apt! ha ha We have 4 animals of our own here to pay for, so about 5 years ago we told him we could no longer afford to include her, so he took over those costs. Sadly, he was forced to say goodbye to his sweet cat just 2 weeks ago, she was nearly 16.
Presently I am putting off having my own replacement of my bridge ( teeth ) done because even with 2 dental plans the predetermination shows I still come up short over $2,000.00
gah!! who can afford that? And what do people with NO dental plans do?

omg! yes! those darn chocolate bars! I had bought those as well thinking " well so much for my diet! " .....but the tortilla wrap things, I could not find just the tortillas on their own, only find the kits. AND I was digging my heels in not wanting to pay more for a " kit " that is so useless.
I am plotting how I will use my AM now for free groceries....I have over 4,000 now...yippee!!

oh my!! To actually KNOW someone who voted him in? I have a few relatives that live in NY but I am positive they voted " For her " ha ha . I heard about all the premiums going up on the Obama care and the way they explained it ( Obama and Hillary both ) said that " nearly all " of those affected with premium hikes were getting that subsidized by the gov't and would not see those increases. Your co-worker must have been one of the unfortunate that fell out of that group, how awful!. This next 4 yrs will be horrendous in so many ways.

o.k. I'll top that! I had not been on a plane in over 11 yrs. and was quite content. Most travel seems exhausting to me with few actual rewards, and besides we did plenty years ago, including Disney with the kids. But....DH wanted to go to Tampa to watch the Jays. ( grrr! ) so I went along with him begrudgingly paying for passports, tickets, hotel, car etc, and we did have a great time. ( maybe because it was just the 2 of us? ) We were even planning on possibly returning in April for their Spring training...but now? NO FREAKING WAY!
This was the worst decision the American voters have made EVER!
