wah!!!! I wanna cry, although my DH is very capable and a very good cook as well, he is not that tidy and uses many pots and pans and the kitchen can look like a bomb went off in it after he makes a meal. You are sure blessed!

About your fridge: If you are in Ontario, Home Depot has expensive fridges, but, they also have 1 or 2 low price fridges that are made by the expensive guys. For example, Amana is made by GE. Same company, but different pricing. The Amana will be a lower price. Please call before you go in. Ask for the appliance employee that has worked there the longest. Ask for his/her schedule for this week. See him/her and only that person. You will get the best service and (hopefully) the best price. If you are near Oshawa, I have another recommndation -- Paddy's Market. If you are located elsewhere, I would try Home Depot. Good luck!
