I'm doing TOPS (Taking off the pounds Sensibly) kind of like WW but no diet its the support side of it. It's also cheaper ($30.00/year $10.00 per month). I'm finding it is helping.

I think it's just iggnorance for people who don't take the time to learn about other cultures, religions etc, and it's too bad for them. There are stereotypes about every culture on earth, but I would be pretty dumb to actually believe everyone is like that. Are all Mexicans working here illegally? No. Are all Natives drunkards? NO. Are all Asians bad drivers? No....the list goes on. Basically what I'm saying is Ghettos that you see among people of the same back round could be for different reasons, refugees don't come here rich, and if there is a war in one country chances are these people are from the same back round. These people live where the government tells them to live. People have to work hard who come here from another country, more so than people that are born here sometimes. It's up to each individual to create their own life here....I'm guessing that's not easy and it makes it much harder when people don't know about the world outside their own door. No one needs to be a scholar, but I'm happy that I can say with confidence my daughter will see and learn so many things in her life and won't be a sufferer of not knowing the world around her . Sorry for going on and on and on.

that's too bad you don't see it very often, hopefully it's just the area you live in, I've lived in places where people were more ignorant than other places. BTW I'm not Arab

I guess you have to look beyond stereotypes, not all Muslims dislike Jews, Christians and vice versa, or have a specific presumption about each other. Some of my best friends are not the same religion as me, and it's OK. BTW no offense taken, have a good Sunday!
