Thank you, Hicks...honestly, I've never felt this discouraged before, but you're right on point about the two steps forward, one step back...that's about what my chiropractor said...things like this don't move forward as we expect them to, unfortunately. I'm quite accustomed to my sciatic pain on my right side, my 3 degenerated discs pain, but this is so different! And much more painful. I see our doc on the 9th, he requested my Hubby to make that appointment for me when he met with him last week...I don't know what the heck else he can do. Nothing really seems to help. Thank you for your caring and your kind words...honestly, they do help.
As for your note about "chocolate", that's too funny, because I actually craved it today! I rarely crave chocolate, but today, I sure did. I resisted the temptation, though....now caramel? THAT I may not have let pass me by!

Thank you for the rep, Hicks....not a lovely last summer day; my chiropractor beat me up again and it hurt quite a bit this time. I needed a couple of sewing supplies, so DH took me to Walmart, I picked up what I needed, walked to the checkout, out the door, and was in horrible pain walking to the van, just about 10 lots from the door! I had to stop several times just to rest!! This is becoming no fun. At all. I'll continue with my chiropractor, but....there is a limit if I'm not seeing progressive progress. If you know what I mean...

The Jays loss was not so bad considering we had 4 good players off ( Joey, Kevin, Josh and Tu-Lo ) and the game was ours right up until it wasn't....ha ha. I think Saunders should have been able to catch that last fly ball though, Pilar would have for sure. The relay was a mess really because the Japan team ( Silver medal) clearly stepped down 2 times on the line of the team next to them ( and why no DQ for them? ) The U.S team has had this happen many times ( getting DQ'd ), but honestly our Canadian team were just 100ths of a second behind 3rd place USA guys so getting that bronze was definitely earned.

we missed that, our tv signal is out still?? I heard it on the radio, it may be in the highlights after

my BP is going up with every horrible call being made AGAINST the Jays hitters when they are at bat!! ( Saunders, Upton and that newer guy Ceceiliani ) all got horrible calls making the count tougher to battle out of. I mean the pitch tracker clearly shows the ball completely out of the box and this guy calls STRIKE! If it goes that way for the other team I have np, but one sided it makes me crazy. Our tv signal went out, we have to listen to the game on the radio now, but I love listening to Kevin Barker ( his accent ).

way to go on the garage door opener win and new garage door -we had put a new garage door in last jan -but its a small garage door so we don't have an opener -maybe in a few years cause I find the garage door hard to turn the opener some days -my arthritis in my hands
