It only got up to 9, not 15, but ohhhh, that warm sun felt so lovely this afternoon when Jenny and I went for a little walk with our GS. Then we sat on the swing while DH checked out the bbq for our burgers tonight, which he's mixing up now..first bbq burgers of the season!! What's better than that?!

Yes & no. Glad I don't have the maintenance & up keep, but miss being able to sit on the deck in the warm weather to come & have my morning tea or evening wine. Less cleaning is a plus & the car stays cleaner longer, being underground.

It is always interesting to learn new facts. I never knew there were hypoallergenic and didn't shed. Having non shedding cats would good but at least they loved to be brushed. Havanese sounds much better then Velcro dog. DH has heard of Havanese as he used to breed and show Labs years ago.
Funny that royalty think that they are better than everyone else as I like to believe everyone is equal especially since money doesn't make you happy. It may make the world go round though. I'm quite happy being a commoner and using coupons!

just got back, pool was empty!! I had a 4 person wide space lane all to myself....ha ha ad the snow turned into rain overnight so much better. Have a nice day hicks!!

I had the swim bags in the van, but decided to hit NF first to price match some raspberries and then merging on the 401 I had the radio on 590 and THAT was when I realized the game was about to start! It was a difficult choice to skip today but Pan Am is finally open again ( tomorrow!! ) so I'll do an extra vigorous swim then!!
Oh and after the game DH and I watched Million Dollar Arm with Jon Hamm... A fabulous and emotional movie.

that game was sure a nail biter eh? FIRST day I did NOT swim since I cannot remember now? The only hour for the lane swim at the Community Centre is from 1-2 on Sunday and I made the choice to tune into the Jays game instead!! So worth it! Goins was so great!!

that is how we feel too about any of the seats farther back , you just can't see much so we're better off at home watching it in High Def on the large tv screen and save the $$. Since he is on vacation this week though, he felt like attending, but he's a bit bummed out at their recent losses. As long as they win the game we go to that will make a difference! ha ha

yup, I watched it again with DH, we were both so annoyed at this " new rule " . I know it was put in place for safety reasons so no one ever breaks a leg again, but really tough to lose a game in the 9th like that. It snowed AGAIN!!!! I got back from a 2 hr pool day and right as I was starting to cook up my breakfast I see a blizzard snowfall out back! It cannot last right? ha ha

I just surrendered the big screen tv to DD, told her I'd watch the rest of the game upstairs but I dread that puny little screen! They were up 3-1 when I left. AND Thole got awarded a HR , and oh what's his name?? got one too ( I forget the other guy, but it was his first at bat ) and the TB fielder that missed the fly ball ( just barely too) wasn't he the one that beat Pillar for the Golden Glove last year?? I better get upstairs, this is making me anxious now....ha ha
