yup! Jackpot for sure for you. Good perspective. My mood is waaaay better today. Just accepted it all in stride because everyone here woke up healthy today and THAT should be looked at as my gift for the day.....right? Amazing once you complain out loud enough, how ridiculous you sound to yourself, ha ha ha . Almost nap time now for me ....again. chat again soon
that seems like a wild card! Poor her. ( neck injury ) I am positive nothing physical happened to me, I felt no pain or discomfort then or now at all. ( my injuries are emotional and financial...lol ) You know what though, I think I deserve to win a small lottery soon?? lol!!
wow, way too many people near and dear to you had health issues over Xmas, that is not very fair.
I hope you & you brood have a very Merry Christmas, and a happy, HEALTHY new year.

How sweet, thank you! Probably better that way. Would've been like Where's Waldo lol
Thanks for the rep! I`m feeling much better these days...am finally off morphine and codeine and back to Tylenol arthritis. I`m hoping to get off the pred in Feb. Thanks to your advice about the hunger, I managed to not gain any weight. I find at the lower dose I`m not nearly as hungry as I was. The odd day I get the urge to eat everything in sight but I`ve managed to control it. Hope your pills are helping you also.
Thanks for the rep Andit! Feeling a bit more human today, thank goodness. the only types of antibiotic I can take with my blood thinners I am allergic to so hoping this is just a viral thing but i so see the doc on Monday to get checked out!
that was a perfect post you made for wolfwoman!! ( dang could not rep you ) http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/396550-...2/#post6178295
Hello. No offense taken about the Toronto poverty thread. I understand about being asked for money a lot, a this time of year. I get it too. At work, at the grocery store, even outside the grocery store. I say no too. I already give to Sally Ann and others so that's enough. No problem. it's good to rant. Rant on
thank for the input -yep I am enjoying every minute with"ashlyn" for sure
yep maybe she was thinking out loud about watching the baby -you may be right who knows
Hearty thanks for repping me over the past week!
hi andit!! I have another new hobby, I am trying dehydrating foods for the first time!! Started simple with citrus slices, next I am thinking to do carrots!
I'm not one for most scary films but I'll see if I can find the movie online. There's another British actor John Thaw) who I liked in A Year in Provence but I did not like watching his UK detective series (Inspector Morse) for which he got acclaim. Show was not my cup of tea. Since I'm a year behind you, have to agree that sometimes age does not get in the way of finding who's hot! Voice is one of the things that works on me. Gee, life better become more like a paperback romance book soon!
Robert McCall---(whistle! and his voice was easy on the ears). I bought a dark double-breasted coat from Sears when the show was on because I wanted to be as cool as him. Enjoy.
The creator/writer from Gilmore Girls (I watched most of the first three seasons then never really got back to it) just delivered snappy lines and the actress playing Lorelai really did a formidable job making the lines seem like top-of-the-head spontaneous delivery. If you can manage subtitled Korean drama, look online for TWSSG or The First King's Four Gods (the sites I had watched it on are out of biz but there remain a couple more (if I find them, I'll PM you). Historical sci-fi drama about how Korea's first king (heavenly son etc) and the four gods (the Blue Dragon is kind of handsome) came to be.
I forgot that Blue Thunder was a series. Seemed to recall Roy Scheider was in the movie version. I liked the A-Team too-just the general sense of "whatever" the team had that is really hard to mimic with females in real-life. I recall skipping the North/South series because I really don't like historical dramas (A&E Pride & Prejudice of 1995 is excused for the sharp and snappy dialogue, actors and yes, Mr. Darcy). Jonathan Frakes, in the days before Star Trek: The Next Generation. Will have to see if Youtube has snippets of JF in period costume from N/S. Glen A. Larson just passed away. His name was on so many shows. How come women writers did not get the money and respect as male writers??
Early 80s, I liked the shows with the smart vehicles: Street Hawk, Air Wolf, Knight Rider. Pity that Riptide did not have a smart boat. And I really liked Hunter with all of its airborne vehicles-articles used to say Stephen J. Cannell owned the largest used car lots in Hollywood. I'll admit to watch Hardy Boys (Parker Stevenson! Shaun Cassidy!) and early Baywatch (Parker Stevenson!).
Thanks so much for the hugs and prayers. The morphine is finally starting to kick in and I got some much needed naps in the recliner. Tonight I`ll try sleeping in the bed again.
You're so right. We love them beyond belief, and scare us so much when all's not well. Jake's doing well. Posted his graduation pic last night. (pg. 7749) I'm praying those antibiotics are successful for Lily.
Awe thanks for the rep Andit! Making lots of lemonade with the lemons I've been handed!!
