Oh, gosh, Andi, although I don't wish any health issues on you, I sure hope you're right and your doctor is wrong!! Although viruses are no heck, either...I've been battling a choking cough for several months, sleeping only an hour at a time most nights, which our doc, after several tests which thankfully didn't find anything, has determined it to be a virus that has made it's home in me and will leave when it decides to. However he's changed my asthma med to Advair, hoping it will help. We'll see.
So when will you have any a definite diagnosis?

As for dogs and cats, specifically yours, honestly, you could write a cartoon strip! Your descriptions bring to mind such vivid pictures! Jenny is presently settled along one if her favourite spots....stretched out between my legs, on our fluffy blankie, with her head cradled across my ankles. I think I lost feeling in my legs about a half hour ago, but would I consider moving her? Away from my bad leg? Heaven forbid!

Andi...the first part of that video and I was saying, "cats are evil"...but later on I forgave them; aren't dogs perfect though? Although you have both and I know you love them both dearly and they get along so well. Animals have so much to teach us. So are you enjoying your fall weather? We woke up to 3C today with a promise of 0C tomorrow morning! I changed our screensaver to a winter scene of our house my hubby took last year..might as well get accustomed to the idea.

I used to dress up my first 2 babies ( cats! ) , I hand crocheted them sweaters to boot!, and one day my Mom saw them in their sweaters , gasped, laughed, and then gently ( ever so gently) suggested that maybe I was craving a baby? my laundry table is stacked up high with everyone else's clean clothes I took from the dryer waiting to be folded and put away, however....I am in one of my MOODS! so they will stay there until someone needs something....then I just dare them to ask if I have seen it! bwahahaha my evil laugh is heard as I walk away.

Brings back fond memories, DH and I owned a cottage BK ( before kids ) but we had to sell it just before my last kid was turning 1 yrs old ( wah!!! came to the realization that we could NOT own both a home and that, too expensive, we are not the Rockefeller's, lol ) BUT the years we did enjoy it were priceless. Oh and about my walks, you know I am a seasoned postie, takes plenty to force me into a sweater outside ( when I walk I get hot ) but in the house? Different story, sitting I get cold easier.

oh that theory about Rob is sad but probably true. ( nurses are pretty smart and observant ) My heart just aches for his young kids and his wife. I shall pray for a miracle ( the miracle being he gets an " aha " moment and actually changes....so sad huh?) Still NOT summer here....the temperature was a tad nippy for the dogs walk, but then I was still in a short sleeved t-shirt, so my fault. Enjoy the rest of your day Andit!

I got into Criminal minds JUST last year! I cannot believe how long that show has been on. So.....my jars of food you ask? First of all take a look at Patty Smyth's post!! ( in the preserving thread) she is prepared big time ( 69 Litres of sauce) and still doing more! A new machine that skins and de-seeds the tomatoes!! ) Back to my reality here, I have 16 Litres of spaghetti sauce, 13 x 500 ml of salsa, some pickled beets, zucchini relish, peach jam and strawberry jam. It was actually kind of fun to do.

all I see are rows and rows of jars! Many are filled and have popped! Some are still empty and waiting for me to get started again. I may just have to take one full day rest.

hi Andi! Rufus is feeling much better, he is going for walks ( even though they said NO walks) and he is interacting with everyone as if nothing is wrong. Only thing I see is he does not jump up on ANY couch or chair still, nor will he stand on his back legs when he comes over to my chair to visit ( he used to always put his front paws on my knees ) So another week of this and back I will go to follow up with whatever treatment seems best for him. I am pooped from doing preserves the last 2 days. Have so much left to still do, but then I will have a decent supply of various things. Have not done this in years!

When I read your posts, I do so with fingers crossed that nothing else will go wrong. Obviously that's not working, so I'll have to try something else.
You know, you can't have all the doctors to yourself, you have to share, so no more problems, ok !! I think that you've had more than your fair share.
Surprisingly, I'm doing pretty well. All my tests came back normal. So except that my back is really screwed up, I'm in perfect health.

Jake was great last night. At 1st he thought I was playing, but I think he soon understood that something was wrong. Thankfully, I know c.p.r., etc., not that it did any good this time, but it has in the past. I'm just thankful I could @ least try.

It can be done ( going without cable) I made my kids give up cable in order to " purchase " internet, which everyone here insisted we NEEDED. I wanted them to know that the budget did not allow for both costs, so they did. ( That was so long ago, maybe 14 years ago??) I laugh because I use the computer just as much as anyone now. Times have changed and I had to join 'em! Best of luck on how long you go without.
