When I took Kevin for his 2 year checkup a kid had the Pox at the Docs office. 14 days later kevin got them, covered head to toe, in his eyes, on his you know what. It wasn't too bad though because I gave him 4 baths a day and got the calamine cream which stays on better than the lotion. He ran around in a diaper and white t-shirts for a week then I had to throw everything out even his bed sheets all stained pink. Kiera got them from Kevin's school when she was about 18 months old. I would take her with me when I volunteered and of course the kids were all over her. She had a very mild dose so I am worried about her getting shigles later on. Apparently the worse you have it at a young age the better for not getting shingles. Anyjhoo so much for the vaccine. If I had another kid I think it's one I would skip.
