I saw the Hunger Games and actually didn't care for it. Like you said, I had everything in my mind and they did play it out the way I thought. But it just lacked something that I can't put my finger on. Maybe it felt rushed? or the characters were not developed enough? Not sure. But I left the theater a bit disappointed.

Aw, Natalka...how nice of you to send that pattern! I've never seen knitted doggie booties before, but what a great idea! We looked for a set of those water-proof, formed, winter dog booties for her last year, but they're all too big, and too "tall" for her short legs! LOL!! THIS will work!! Do you knit, Natalka?
We're in the midst of that heat-wave here, too..so like you, I prefer the indoors...I keep the house so cool that my hubby sometimes puts a sweater on! LOL! Poor guy...I turn the temp up for him...

afternoon! We are sweltering in this weather ....but not complaining! lol Enjoy the Canada day celebrations this weekend as well.

Thanks for checking in on us! I'm getting more mobile every day. Still not 100%. Stairs are really difficult still. I would probably heal faster if I wasn't trying to do too much! Hubby is a teacher so he gets the summers off. Its nice for all of us to be home for the summer!
