Oooo...that sounds so refreshing, Natalka! I'm going to keep that in my recipe repertoire (bookmarks) here..the one I'm looking for definitely had Carnation in it..it gave it that richness, and you know..that certain flavour Carnation has.

It must be this one, Natalka.....only I don't recall freezing the carnation milk, and they layered it. I've just got to try this when my brother and his family comes after Christmas!!!

Oh. I should clarify. When my Mom and Baba made it, they made a graham crust, and, iirc, the layers were pink, mint green and yellow...all sort-of fluffy, and they cut it into squares.
Can you tell I'm trying to cheat and make desserts that require little effort?

Natalka, I need your help sleuthing. Did your Mom or Baba ever make a dessert that was layers of jello and carnation milk? It looked like foam and omg it was SO good! I've been trying to fine that old recipe, but to no avail. Everything now seems to be very thin layers of jelly...phhht! Not what I'm looking for at all.
Have you had that dessert and can you help? Again?

you are more accepting than I. ( -30's temps!! agh!!) I am soooooo glad I no longer have to trudge around outside. I watched Calgary news/weather and they got dumped on with snow pretty bad. My stupid arthritis kicked in on Sat night ( just the 1 foot), but I ran him out of town with deep heat and Tylenol! lol
