I'm doing good thanks, except my knee has been locking up a bit because of this damn pain lol. However I did manage to walk to Independent grocers but slowly. Hope you are feeling well.

awww, ty hicks. I know your DS had also lost a beloved pet too right? His dog wasn't it? This is our DS first experience with losing a pet that was all his you know? Dot was his from day 1, even though he never took possession of her when he moved to start Univ., but eventually he did once he had his own permanent place.
Pets sure do get the short end of the longevity stick don'y they?

yup, a picture IS worth a 1,000 words. I am so sad right now. My DS#1 is at an Emerg vet clinic downtown with his 15 yr old cat named Dot. I am just aching for what he is going through, how he found her when he got home from work around 7 p.m. laying there unable to move her back legs and blood on her tail and backside. Crying? oh gosh, I could hear her cries as he was on the phone with me.
He JUST phoned me back, they have her in the treatment room right now hopefully diagnosing her.
At first I was not sure why he did not go in there with her, but not all owners can handle that, so maybe he knows he is one of them.
Prayers that he gets to enjoy Dot for a few more years.

I'm certainly glad that you are moving forward.Thanks for your continued prayers.As the x-rays were inconclusive I had a MRI done at Lakeridge health Oshawa and busted my foot in the same place I did years ago.Now it is rest with an air cast for awhile and I need to heed your advice,despite my own wishes.

I am a total sap! That pic you posted of the dog with his head buried in the vets chest brought a welling up of this weird liquid in my eyes?? ha ha

Well in retrospect I should've read your message sooner and listened to DW. Turns out Tuesday was too soon to go back for a check up,I now go back Mon.In the meantime I should've rested rather than messed things up further-sigh!!Oh well,hope you are coming along.Praying for you still.

oh good! You saw the vets visit update. There was a lot to unpack in that visit but I wrote out the main things.
I have never seen these 2 dogs so sleepy, again right now they are both fast asleep!

aw hicks, I know you know all about vets and the suffering our furbabies go through. So far Rufus is being really cooperative when I put that 1 drop in his left eye every 4 hrs. It is like caring for a baby, I set the alarm each time because 4 hrs goes by so quickly.
On another front, Murphy seems to have a lame back leg, but I have no idea what happened to him? At first I thought maybe he had some salt caught in his back paws after the walk but they are all clean. This guy is my
" leaper ". He jumps up and down on furniture with ease. he prances everywhere but since yesterday he won't even climb up 1 step.
I went to lift him into the house after our walk and he let out a yelp! My DS came down and wondered what that awful sound was. I may be taking him into the vet next if he keeps this up!

Thanks for your prayers.For Family Day Weekend I managed to bruise my foot which hurt quite a bit and was told to rest it till Tuesday!So I've been stuck in the house since Friday.Oh well,could've been worse.Continue to take care of yourself.God is good!

tee hee.....Alzheimer's much? No worries hicks, I think this was the first rep you gave me today. I know that feeling though....like right after I take my meds I drift into another room and when I return I ask myself " did I take remember to take my meds ? " ha ha ha

Family Day on Monday means only two branches are open for Family Day kids' activities. My local branch will be among the closed locations.
As for today's photo scanning, the pics are in order! Have to resize them another day. Seems I have scanned them like 3 times but
never got the relabelling/sorting done right away.

I'm enjoying this Saturday! Not looking forward to two days without Internet. How's the weather where you are? Ms. Sunshine better be beaming for you!

well I am glad you got to socialize and enjoy yourself and a meal! You sure deserve some normalcy right now. Fingers crossed on the remainder of the tests. My faithful snow shoveler is very sick with a terrible cold/cough thing as well as his Dad, so I had to shovel this morning! ugh!!
