Here the guys were forced onto an even worse shift for 2 weeks ( Xmas reasons I guess ) so if I had not done that little bit of baking and menu prep before, things would be even worse. Silver lining!! When the guys leave today my DD is going to gather the bags of " things " from various corners where I have hid them and assist me in wrapping. I will need to remove her gifts from there, so I told her no peeking in the bags! ha ha

Hey, thanks for the heads up! Hubby is the only one who really cares and him and his buddys have had their tickets for weeks already! I feel like my ears wanna bleed every time I hear those words "Star Wars" I could give 2 crappers!

The other grandma(the one she refused to invite to Christmas last year) gave an xbox for a birthday and she was angry because the other son was given a laptop and it was worth less money. she asked her to make up the difference. OIY....I am lucky grandma.

I used Cake & Pastry flour because that is all I had and I used my Oster kitchen Centre mixer to be sure everything got blended very well. My dough did not look all sticky like the video, mine was nice to roll into a long sausage shape and then I flattened it out.
Pizza cutter was a great tip too.

I had the same fear and misgivings when I ordered that gold and silver metalic evening clutch for our DD from Brownshoes, but it was so beautifully packed and not a scratch on it. SO happy. Really happy you picked up those dishes, they're so happy- looking; of course I'd drive myself nuts trying to line then up perfectly every time I set the table, lol! Which is why we have the plain white Correlle, lol. They're also lighter for me to handle.

that was why I had stopped most baking ( you know delicious bready things? ) but now we have the kitchen floor redone and I reorganized the cupboards and small appliances again and my baking cupboard is calling to me!! Just makes me want to start using my bread machine again....and you know? NOT for bread but for sweet dough to roll out into cinnamon buns and that kind of stuff....lol!! I feel helpless now, figure I'll surrender ov er all our upcoming b'days and Xmas then hope that 2016 becomes my year to start fresh on my weight loss and better health.

Hi Natalka! A few days (or maybe weeks) ago i rwad your post that your car had gotren out of the house and it hadn't come back by that time. Can i ask...if the ending is not hurtful to you....did she come back? Did you find your baby? I read on the forums that cats are just like your babies.
