I've never had cooked kale. I've tried kale chips but I'm not too sure of the health factor of those, all covered in salt and seasonings. I like it in the salad kits though. It's a bit tougher than lettuce, more along the lines of cabbage and has a subtle but distinctive flavor. The kits come in two sizes. The one I'm working on right now is the larger of the two (700-something grams). The smaller one is about half the weight. Pricey if you pay full cost but I try to wait for a sale. I got the bigger one for under $3 last week - the Superstore sells it for about $7.

and funny the kabobs were the only item I never bought because sometimes they were just a 2 pack, so small, I always felt I'd have to buy soooo many to make a decent spread here ( these guys obviously eat too much meat in general here ) but I really miss the meatballs. Took all the work out of the meal for me, I roasted them from frozen in the oven and simply added the sauce to heat all through and some chopped veggies. Sigh......I saw a bag the other day, omg it was 1/2 the size it used to be and it was still $10.00.... It will be back to making my own I guess.

I agree about Marc Angelo prices! Also the pkgs have shrunk! BUT they are gluten free so that is why I get them. Oh thought you might chuckle at Argo's sentence!
