I always feel there are worse things out there and still try to feel blessed. Does this stop me from having those "sucky" moments, feeling shortchanged from time to time? hi nat -thanks for the rep -I went to a lovely wedding shower yesterday -brought home a bunch of cookies -my girlfriend is Croatian -so nice baking-I think I will freeze a few for company -I am trying to lose a bit still-oh my daughter talked me into a hike yesterday and hour not so bad as we were going down the few hills -well on the way up I had to take a few breaks

well neither of them do much around here UNLESS asked, and then they are great, but need always need to be asked. ( sigh) From their meager earnings they both have been disciplined enough to make bi weekly contributions to their own emergency funds.
( I call it their " moving out " nest egg ), but this reality check not only helps us out big time, it will show them how tough it is to purchase things from their " wants " column when they have less to play with. Life lessons right?

Nat, I did something I never thought I'd do. Starting June 1st ( today ) we are charging our 2 kids room and board for the next 4 months ( till school starts back up ) Prices keep arising and life is just not free, they need to know I am not a money tree, lol!!
