i had one of those monitors on years ago, they found a 'sticky'
valve (shaped like a 'hockey stick' guessing it slowed me down
and did disappear apparently stupid to have a hockey reference )

opposite of what your heart is doing, wondering if you have an
electrical problem? which is easily fixed.
my friend had one, so knows a bit, and i can ask if you need/want
to know.
