Yep. It happened at the end of my street (a 2 minute walk from me). Of course, I was in my happy little bubble world and had no clue what was going on til hours later. Thankfully, no one was hurt. did I shock you about the KI pills? I was shocked the very first time we learned about it, but am used to this now, all the way through gr 1-8 my 3 kids got the lectures at school all about it. Anyone within 10 kms of this plant gets the letter, the warnings and the pills.

aw Nat, so sorry to hear that, one of the reasons it peaked my interest so is because my own physical strength has sure diminished since I retired, NO upper arm strength at all now and I used to toss around 50 lb bags and work like an ox. And stairs? pfft! Going from the basement up 2 floors to bed I am huffing and puffing when i get there, that never used to happen. The trouble is I just love the relaxing pace now and I sit waaaaay more than I really ought too.
Just not fair, after so many yrs slugging and now that I finally get to do nothing, it is impacting my health! Grrr! Hope you can find some improvement soon for your situation, in the meantime squeeze that gem of a guy for being who is is, a great spouse!

good morning, it is so true, owning doggies is more work than owning kitties, and they are often like annoying toddlers. I think that was why I never allowed any animals here while the kids were very young. ( as a FT working Mom, there was no way I needed more to do ) But at a certain age along came the hamsters, lizards, gekkos, fish, etc. and then my eldest got his own cat in grade 10. After that we lost our heads and got my second son Rufus at 13, followed by Murphy 1.5 yrs after. DH and I share the blame for adopting/rescuing Claudius and Hamlet. We just cannot imagine our family now without them, but there are days I shake my head at the work and expense of these pets. ha ha

oh Natalka, gotta say most all of your posts on the " a few lol's " are so great! Often I go there if I need a laugh, and I am never disappointed! Thanks!!
