Hon...you'll find strength you never knew you had because you'll want to be there for your wife and daughter...My husband is a calm man and was there with hugs...let me cry as much and whenever I needed to...he says very little, but his strength is always evident. Hugs to you and your family, Dear Heart.

I'm sorry to hear that, Skippy....but these things do happen, and death comes to all of us. Keep strong for your wife and particularly for your daughter through this...let them cry...yell...and get through this wretched time...it's so difficult...keep the memories alive and celebrate his life in the months to come. Your poor daughter facing exams....I hope your daughter can have some tangible items of his...I continue to wear my Mother's jewellry and feel so close to her when I do...its very comforting...

Thank you skippy. Made it to work ok, but it's really getting cold, and it's my 11.5 hour shift, so by 11 tonight, it will probably be pretty slippery out.
