oh Skippy! I used to be THAT person always criticizing my guys about eating burgers and such, but these days I have embraced it fully! Maybe a bit too much as I am the one collecting the mail and placing the coupon booklets and flyers within eye-shot of them. ha ha

Thank you, Skippy, they're over that 'flu', thank heavens. It takes a lot to knock them down, but they sure were. We're all back at our campground now, chatting with all our friends and neighbours we haven't seen since last year. We're not allowed on each other's properties, just chats in the street respecting our distance; many campground haven't opened up, but our owners applied to open, had us all sign wrt restrictions....if health folks drop in and find parties ( not unheard of here, lol!) they could be shut down. The parties will return after the 2nd! Hope you and your family are keeping well.

That's IF the sun comes out at all, Skippy....however, we're promised better days ahead...sure hope so; camping season is upon us! Take good care, Skipper!!

Fun fact: In my family of 6 six, we all were labelled. The smart one ( eldest DD ) the pretty one ( next born after smarty pants ), the baby ( until 3 more were born ) , then came the Golden child! THE BOY ( yes, my parents only had the 1 male and the sun rose and .....well you know the rest of that ) , then came ME....oh Lord, I ruined everything because I was NOT a boy. But I was labeled the sh*t disturber, later graduating to the Mouthy one. Sigh..... After me came the real baby...cherished and labeled an angel because she would be the last.
But...I'm fine....bwahahaha!!!

To make things worse I was NOT my most gracious self on the phone because I never even considered there was a " catch " to using that code??
Now I just want to curl up and hide from all Metro CS agents....they are probably using my recorded messages for " training purposes " ha ha

Walks and do have cooking and baking in common, it's fun to share recipes with someone and I agree, that cake wouldn't last long around here! My Hubby does most of the cooking here, also; I made dinner today but by the time it got into the oven my back was in so much pain. Standing seems worse than walking. I do make a pretty good sous-chef, though....but I do miss planning dinners and cooking like I used to. But wachagonnado, huh? �� Take good care Skippy...I quite envy your reading about your walks. Looks like my Walker and I will be dating more often..I don't know what I plan to do at camp...I'm so vain! Hahahaha!!!

The folks in our little group always support each other, you do the same. These are tough times for everyone, even I get fed up sometimes, but I always remind myself that there are others hurting so much worse than I am, physically and emotionally.
My Friend just lost her Husband....how can I possibly feel anything other than blessed.

You too, Skippy....enjoy each day as it comes the good and the not so much good...Your walks are likely doing a lot for your continued mobility. It'll be interesting this year at camp, how or if at all, I'll be able to walk to our kids' trailer. Might need one of those adult tricycles some other gals have.

Oh, I don't actually function that early, Skippy! When I wake up, usually 9-9:30, take my time moving around, taking inventory of where the pain is. I usually feel as if I had a run-in with a Mack truck. Hubby is up first, has the coffee made, so it's just Jenny and I and Jenny has no inclination whatsoever about getting up. As I slip off tge bed, Jenny squiggles under the blankets and disappears. When I get downstairs Hubby has my coffee ready, we sit, chat, catch up on the news on TV, and it's only after a 2nd coffee I can finally consider having breakfast. Skippy, I can handle doing some sewing for an hour, puttering, tidying up this or that, but the rest of the afternoon I have to rest.
My fibromyalgia has become worse over the few years since I was diagnosed and each day is an adventure. I hope you're enjoying more days in comfort, Skippy.
