No problem Skippy...we're here for each other...yesterday I could only watch tv or play games on here...some days are just better than others. As far as remembering things, this should make you feel better: the other day I couldn't remember a word I desperately searched for in my head when I was telling my Hubby something and got so frustrated I just blurted out, "that thing that keeps food cold!!!!" hahaha!! Hi Skippy, you know what you posted about losing loved ones at, on or near Christmas is a hurt that never quite heals. My Dad of course never saw me marry or have kids. Cabmonk's pain is doubled as it was his Mom....and I am sure you agree losing a Mom impacts us so much deeper.

The icons at the bottom are trackers. We already have several savings accounts and I wanted to track items separately that are in one bulk savings a/c. The first stereo is a fund for a new tv and soundbar= all loyalty redemptions.. I just redeemed $70 in pc points today,
The Boat is from coupons and price matching= for a kayak that I'm going to keep at my parents place on the bay
The third is for a cottage rental next fall =SDM seniors discounts on "real savings" i.e. milk and Seniors day vouchers. $10 one today
The + sign is for savings from going to Esso for pc points versus our local gas station..i.e. to track effort (only a km further) Yeah haven't been travelling much.

There was a member on here that made a great point about grocery and other stores and all the reward programmes offering deals that would tempt people into being out every single day. You know how one deal only runs for 3 days? Then another runs the very next day? It's just all too much.

This week is going to be torturous for both of them though....the stifling temps, with little or no relief where they work on an open dock.

I have my excuse to go out! We are out of laundry liquid....has never happened as I am a stockpiling fool when sales go on. Well that stopped when the stay at home order came in effect. So tomorrow i gleefully make a small trip to buy soap.

When DH he gets up to go to work I hear him in the kitchen saying to the 2 cats..." did Mommy forget to feed you guys? " and I have to blurt out NO!!, they're liars! " from the other room! ha ha This not going out for days on end is kind of getting to me.

not sure if you know I was successful on Dr. Poon's diet ( mainly no carbs ) by dropping 77 lbs back in 2019.
That was then... this is now ( pandemic and house arrest! ) so i cracked and made THAT bread! OMG, I have not baked anything that easy since using my bread machine.
The finished product is truly a mystery! just flour, yeast, salt and water? How does that make such yumminess??
I'll be making more loaves when i get some fresh yeast. DD ran out to the convenience store to see if they sell any.

I know! I was having a bit of fun from one unskilled computer/cell phone/tablet....and all the rest of the gadgets user to another. Have a glorious Saturday...... aw heck! have a glorious weekend!

Thanks for your message. Hope you and yours are safe. It's not an easy time but I think we live in a great country and people, for the most part, look out for each other. It is ironic that this coronavirus does not care who you are: Prince Charles , Tom Hanks or a senior in a small long term care residence. It attacks all. But on a positive note, those who hoarded masks are stepping up and donating to health care organisations that are in need. Stay safe.

I know the feeling well. In the past few years I've lost all the info on my computer, they said my Hard drive blew? Well whatever.....then I had issues with a second desk top computer we bought, lost some data, was able to save some, but the learning involved with new devices aggravates the heck out of me. Nice to hear from you once again!! We have snow!! ( again ) ha ha
