Last night, was lots of fun (I only overdid it a bit ). Had more fun today at the theatre, & out with friends tomorrow. Figure I should get all my fun in before my doctor slaps my wrists for being too naughty.

I'll be at my folks' recovering for a few days, so likely won't be online before next weekend (having a mini vacation, since I'm supposed to take it really easy after the angio). I'll let you know how it goes when I get back.

Thanks for the Christmas wishes; yes, tonight is Christmas Eve. We just do this one low-key, we will have a simple supper of perogies, do some praying/singing - no gifts, just being together.

The thread has certainly taken off - it's quite inspiring and comforting for me to hear about other SC'ers journeys through mental health.

You make a great point regarding the "What are you thankful for" thread as a way to track the good stuff - I had never thought of sharing my personal lists. I think that it's often too easy - for me anyways - to get stuck in negative self-talk that makes you forget the good stuff that really does happen.

I remember when things were really, really bad for me a few years back (when I started making my lists) that I could always write down that breakfast went well - probably because breakfast was always cold cereal, lol! Now, though, I feel that I am truly blessed as I can always come up with at least five things pretty easily when at first I struggled to get 3!

I responded to her antiquated post, my Friend...no worries, there are many of us here who really do understand...

ha ha , yes I was a bit too eager to slurp. So I just read through the posts in there, and oh boy, once you bring diet and exercise into it , then the patient ( the one with the mental health issues) now feels they have two more reasons to be held accountable for what they are feeling. Like their life isn't already tortured enough? geesh.
